I have once watched a documentary on Discovery Channel on cooking and the chef was traveling around the world just to taste and experience the food and culture of different races all over the world. One destination he went was Abu Dhabi. Interesting enough, I learned that arabians wear casual clothes like we do too! Only inside a house or an edifice, according to the interview, they ( Arabian Family who was the host for the chef who’s documenting the show) wear their sultanas and long gowns outside to protect themselves from the weather and sand. In their own houses, they wear normal clothes like we do!
Everyday we learn something, I didn’t know that. I thought they do everywhere but now I know that they do not. Well, just to lighten you a bit I just want to share that knowledge plus the fact that I am going to watch SATC2 which is a comedy movie about these married women who are friends… Traveled all the way to Abu Dhabi for a luxury exotic vacation together. I will share to you what happened and what Abu Dhabi has something to be proud of after watching the movie. At least, I will glimpse a little bit of their culture.
